Novosibirsk

On the Transsiberian line Novosibirsk is 50 hours from Moscow and around 14 from Krasnoyarsk.

With a population of over 1.4 million people (5th largest city in Russia), this is the largest city in Siberia and its industrial centre. It’s a relatively young city and has few buildings of historic interest. But it’s a pleasant enough place for a day or two and the huge scale of some parts of the centre is amazing. More info.

I hope this guy wakes up some of these days...

Car attendant's mini-kitchen.

It doesn’t really look tempting...

The fauna of the train...

So  clean that you could even eat soup here
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the transiberian from inside... Novosibirsk, the biggest train station in the whole Siberia
The Lenin statue most original... It looks like a Back Street Boys’ choreography...

These are real men...

The Novosibirsk opera house. It is one of the biggest in the world and it was partly built by women and children, since the men were in World War II... The picture, again, centered... The chappell that marks the geographycal center of Russia

... I pronounce you husband and wife... And now look for a bride to kiss... By the way, another magnificient picture... As it reads “Hero of the Soviet Union”. However, I don’t know who are those guys in the pictures behind him

People taking the Sun in a park in Siberia, doesn’t it sound like a joke? I wonder if it would be a statue of a piano player and they ran out of money in the middle of its construction.

23 degrees is not bad at all... taking into account that during winter they are often at–30 here...

At least here they knew which is the best club in the world...

And the bottles were still full!

The first thing is the first thing, and that, even being in Siberia, is knowing the matches of the Corea-Japan World Cup!
Born to be wild!! The cathedral of Alexander Nevsky, recently restored
He is only missing the Moroccan slippers...

As it reads "A lot of hapiness doesn't exist"...

Bye bye,  our dear Novosibirsk!
